Job Summary

An IT and cybersecurity firm is filling a position for a Remote Shield Informaticist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Promoting an integrated approach to identifying, capturing, and sharing of laboratory data
  • Developing an authoritative source for laboratory data representation that will support existing data models
  • Collaborating proactively with health IT stakeholders across industry, agencies, and disciplines

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Deep understanding of health standards such as SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm, etc
  • Excellent writing and experience with academic writing and publications
  • Bachelor of Science
  • Deep understanding of terminology and interoperability technologies and solutions
  • Experience with health IT based research and HL7 experience
