Job Summary

A contractor technology firm has a current position open for a Remote Shopify Developer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Building out custom Shopify themes and modifying pre-existing themes
  • Ongoing website maintenance including functional changes to eCommerce storefront
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting bugs and other QA issues

Position Requirements Include:

  • Expert knowledge of Shopify/Shopify Plus theme modification (liquid) and Shopify APIs, and App methodologies and limitations
  • Experience building high-volume Shopify Plus themes and integrations with Storefronts with over 1,000 SKUs
  • Fluency with version control and staged deployments
  • Fluency in interpreting and working with third-party APIs or microservices
  • Familiar with common tools, design patterns, practices for developing cloud-based applications, and building reusable components
