Job Summary
A content delivery network, cybersecurity, and cloud service company is seeking a Remote Site Reliability Senior Platform Operations Engineer II.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing end to end performance of public sector cloud deployments
- Becoming familiar with the networking and technology stacks deployed in public sector cloud
- Troubleshooting production problems at depth, and participating in an iterative improvement process
Required Skills:
- Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
- Have excellent background in layer two and layer three technologies
- Demonstrate knowledge of Juniper Junos or Cisco NXOS based equipment
- Have experience administering UNIX-based operating systems over a TCP/IP network
- Demonstrate advanced technical skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Have deep knowledge of SQL and familiarity with developing complex queries to extract data from multiple data sources
