Job Summary

A non-profit organization is filling a position for a Remote Social Media Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing a social media strategy that is aligned with a social media calendar
  • Creating, implementing, and analyzing social media campaigns
  • Increasing engagement and followers on all social media platforms

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's in communications, journalism, marketing, business, design, illustration, public relations, or related
  • Minimum three years of experience working in social media in a professional environment
  • Ability to use social media management platforms such as Hootsuite
  • Knowledge of Adobe's Creative Suite—including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Products
  • Strong ability to internalize brand guidelines and strategically adapt them to social media content
