Job Summary
A software development company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Software Business Development Representative.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Owning prospecting, lead generation, and sales qualification to ensure the team meets our annual revenue targets
- Undertaking market research to identify new and potential sectors, organizations, and functions for the product
- Running targeted outbound campaigns to generate new leads
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role in a SaaS / business intelligence / consulting organization
- Previous experience in managing top-of-the-funnel prospecting, MQLs, SQLs, and ARR
- Understanding of the cloud ecosystem and the relevant technologies in the data space
- Experience with data analytics /management consulting, data warehousing, software markets, products, and business
