An advisory and consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Software Development Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Managing, leading, and mentoring the Software and Product Development team
  • Driving the software development effort including the off-shore team
  • Implementing efficient processes, scalable tools, and resource allocation

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Ability to present complex technical information to a variety of audiences
  • 5 years of experience developing cloud hosted software applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2 years of experience managing software development teams
  • Development experience in Java or C/C, Tomcat, Spring, any one of Relational Databases
  • Experience following and enforcing professional software engineering practices
  • Strong project management skills
