Job Summary

A publisher of premium digital content is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting and enhancing core software infrastructure that powers our products
  • Developing a cloud architecture and interface that is utilized by an internal video operations team
  • Designing scalable API endpoints for use by third parties

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Experience with a microservices architecture using AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB
  • Experience with JavaScript NodeJS
  • Experience with technologies like React.js, PHP, Python, Terraform
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, JEST
  • Experience performing load/stress tests
  • 5+ years experience writing REST based web services and APIs
