Job Summary

An engineering and technology consulting firm is seeking a Remote Software Engineer II.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying potential roadblocks and develop around them
  • Communicating development concepts to software developers, program management, and customer representatives
  • Using Jira, Confluence, Git/Bitbucket collaboration and source control tools to communicate information

Qualifications for this position include:

  • BS degree in related technical field and 4-8 years prior relevant experience
  • Java/ J2EE technologies and proficiency with MS Office Products
  • Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Experience / understanding of relational DB models and JPA
  • Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
