An education company is filling a position for a Remote Software Engineer in Birmingham.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop components of our core SaaS platform written in Python, Django, Javascript
• Gain an in-depth understanding of all of the team's code, systems, and tools
• Support operations by identifying, researching and resolving performance and production issue

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with engineers and product management teams
• Ability to communicate with business and technical teams
