Job Summary

A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Engineer in Eden Prairie.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform all phases of software engineering
  • Design, develop and test reusable frameworks, libraries, Java and Big Data components
  • Be innovative in solution design and development to meet the needs of the business

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Java development experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on expertise with Big Data technologies
  • 2+ years of Spark / Scala experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on expertise with Unix
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL
