Job Summary

A non-profit organization specializing in technology has an open position for a Remote Software Engineering Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Telemetry platform engineering team, helping to take the ideas from initial phases to implementation
  • Work closely with product management and refine the requirements
  • Partner with GovComm to define telemetry retention, access control, and data handling standards

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, STEM, IT or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of professional experience in solution delivery, architecture, vendor management, and people management in the data services domain
  • Experience managing developers’ full-stack teams
  • Understanding and knowledge of c++, java, typescript, python, AWS Services, Kafka, Snowflake, and DevOps practices such as CI/CD
