Job Summary

A company that offers workers’ compensation, auto, and disability care-management and cost-containment solutions is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Engineering Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing a team of Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Quality Assurance Analysts through various software development tasks
  • Providing one to one guidance to individual contributors, including support of individual development plans, mentoring, and performance reviews
  • Working with business partners and product stakeholders to identify and prioritize work items

Position Requirements Include:

  • Experience with: JavaScript, React.js, Angular.js, REST API, JSON, OAUTH, AWS, Oracle
  • Experience owning multiple ends to end development cycles
  • Previous experience in a Lead Development role
  • Experience with modern DevOps tools and methodologies
  • The ability to support both Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience with end-user experience design, accessibility principles and security centric solutions
