Job Summary

A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Support Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Triaging incoming issues by investigating, communicating, and escalating (when necessary).
  • Communicating technical concepts to our internal Customer Support team and sometimes directly with customers
  • Setting up user management via integration or sFTP file handling, setting up SSO, and sometimes setting up a custom stylesheet for specific customers

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors degree
  • able to clearly communicate the impact and likelihood of an issue to all stakeholders
  • able to translate the non-technical business needs into a clear technical action plan and vice versa, seamlessly
  • demonstrated being known as someone who spreads knowledge and develops teammates outside the formal reporting structure
  • demonstrated an ability for taking a big problem and breaking it down into manageable chunks, enabling forward progress on things in parallel instead of serially, and ensuring all parties are aligned on the outcome.
  • Excellent communication skills
