Job Summary

A technology company is in need of a Remote Solutioins Unix Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Delivery of innovative, next-generation IT solutions
  • Working with monitoring and management tools

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field
  • Previous experience supporting and troubleshooting applications, operating systems, and servers through monitoring or through incident management system
  • At least 8 years of experience providing technical support to enterprise networks, with 6 years of experience supporting physical and virtual Linux/Unix-based enterprise servers
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting Apache web server in an enterprise environment
  • Applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a DoD Public Trust Clearance
  • ITIL Foundation Level Certification
