Job Summary

An IT and software company is filling a position for a Remote Solution Engineering and Introduction Submarine Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Assessing and forwarding customer feedback and requests to account teams
  • Leading a 2-4 person team when acting as project prime
  • Authoring and executing customer presentations, field trial plans and application guides

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Available for global travel: typically 2 weeks in field per project including weekends (estimated average travel rate of 25-35%)
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field of discipline
  • Minimum 5 years in telecommunications industry related to optical transmission systems
  • Global experience in submarine systems a strong asset
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills a key requirement
  • Experience with Layer 0 optical test equipment
