Job Summary
A financial and banking company is in need of a Remote Sourcing Commodity Lead in Johnston.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Driving innovation related to strategic sourcing and supplier relations
- Creating and developing strong working relationships with key internal and external partners
- Developing and executing commodity and sourcing strategies for home mortgage commodities/categories
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Working with cross-functional teams to lead sourcing initiatives from start to finish, including RFx events
- BA/BS in supply chain management or business related field
- 4 or more years of relevant sourcing experience, preferably in banking and Home Mortgage
- Experience leading complex sourcing engagements using industry best practices for sourcing procedures
- Proven success using root cause analysis and brainstorming techniques to get to high value ideas
- Proven success with developing stakeholder relationships at senior levels of an organization
