ADA Transcription is a general transcription company. We specialize in research, typing out interviews and focus groups to move the world forward. We work with amazing facilities across the country from John Hopkins and Harvard to the National Institute of Early Education Research and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. - not doing medical RECORDS. But some of the research is medical in nature-


I am looking to start doing Spanish translation transcription in-house, instead of outsourcing it.


This would be sporadic work at first, with GREAT potential to grow. Ideally I want people who want to grow with us.


There are two types of Spanish translation/transcription. One is where the audio is transcribed into Spanish and THEN word-for-word translated. Then... THE ONE WE WANT... is where the person listening to the Spanish audio transcribes it into English. SIMULTANEOUS transcription/translation.


You would need to work with our style guide and regulations of course.


Ideally, I'd like people who have done actual translation/transcription before. However, for the right candidates, I'd be willing to work with people who have done translation, but are new to transcription. But you absolutely must have translation experience.
