Job Summary

An insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Specialty Vehicle Technician Desk Appraiser.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Taking ownership of any issue, problem, or error that could potentially impact the policyholder
• Handling routine and complex material damage claims with little or no supervision
• Balancing workload within the area of responsibility through physical inspections and desk reviews

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
• 5+ plus years of estimating experience including specialty vehicles
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels
• Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion
• Capability of consistently handling aggregate file exposures of at least $50,000
