A sports media publishing company is in need of a Remote Sports Media Executive Editor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Protecting and maintaining the independence and excellence of the company’s journalism
• Providing managerial oversight of the company’s 400+-person newsroom
• Attracting and recruiting the best talent in sports journalism

Required Skills:

• 10+ years experience managing and leading editorial teams
• A demonstrable passion for the subject matter
• Demonstrated exceptional news judgment
• A deep understanding of audience data and analytics
• An ability to work on east coast hours
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with commercial, growth, product, and operations teams
