Job Summary
A software development company has a current position open for a Remote Staff Accountant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing third party contracts to determine appropriate application of accounting rules
- Reconciling month-end general ledger account balances
- Analyzing customer invoice data and performing calculations and reconciliations of monthly royalty accruals
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Finance or Accounting
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practice
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to perform complex calculations
