Job Summary

A privately-held technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Staff Core Media Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Architecting and building the server-side and client-side infrastructure
• Designing and implementing innovative media features
• Being the thought leader for technical design

Required Skills:

• Meet in person with their teams at least twice a year
• Deep expertise in developing cloud service and media streaming technologies
• Knowledge of mainstream media codecs and container formats
• Proven track record of taking on ambiguous problems in a multi-faceted product
• Hands-on technical leadership experience in setting technical directions
• Able to lead substantial technical efforts
