Job Summary
An IT company is seeking a Remote Staff Security Engineer in Palo Alto.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Architect a secure production infrastructure
- Identify and assess all threat vectors impacting the infrastructure
- Engineer and implement and monitor security measures for the protection of server infrastructure
Qualifications for this position include:
- 7+ years UNIX/Linux OS management
- 7+ years of configuration management with ansible, chef, puppet, or salt
- 7+ years designing secure infrastructure environments in both cloud and conventional datacenters
- Hands-on expertise writing Terraform configurations
- 7+ years of scripting using Bash, Python
- 7+ years proven work experience as a system security engineer with hands-on design and implementation expertise
