Job Summary

A global software development company has a current position open for a Remote Storage Infrastructure Senior Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build reliable and efficient transactional data storage systems that are friendly to operate
  • Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to develop storage services that facilitate their success
  • Help influence our storage infrastructure roadmap

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Having 4+ years of experience working with distributed databases (Cassandra, Scylla, etc.) storing 100s of billions of data points
  • Having experience building backend systems and services
  • Having familiarity with Linux internals
  • Having experience solving complex distributed system problems
  • Being comfortable working in fast paced environments
  • Having knowledge of monitoring and alerting best practices
