Job Summary

An entertainment media company is in need of a Remote Streaming Service Senior Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

Developing, owning, and improving systems and services to route video streaming traffic
Processing and analysis of client video player performance metrics and CDN backend data
Working with derived performance metrics to determine the most performant CDN for clients

Required Skills:

Familiar with modern code deployment toolchains such as Docker and Kubernetes
An understanding of end-to-end streaming video delivery including HLS/DASH protocols and CDN managemen
Experience building production quality scalable services
Have a background in maintaining and managing infrastructure as code e.g. Datatdog, Grafana, and Google
Ability to build and maintain software deployment pipelines using CI/CD practices
Experience with writing microservices in Golang, Java, or other comparable languages
