Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Substance Use Masters Level Specialist in Pittsburgh.
Must be able to:
- Rreceive high volume of inbound calls
- Utilize skills and training to deliver a brief, single session, structured clinical intervention
- Empathically guide and build partnership and motivation with treatment seekers
Qualifications for this position include:
- Master’s Degree in Addictions Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy
- 2+ years of work experience in a clinical/behavior change setting
- Experience assessing for and managing safety during crisis situations
- Must be able to talk with treatment seekers about issues surrounding substance use disorder
- Ability to create an atmosphere of trust
- Skilled at assisting treatment seekers in articulating their goals and motivation for treatment
