Job Summary

An educational company is in need of a Remote Substitute Teacher.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing students for high stakes standardized tests
• Taking ownership for students' academic progress and attendance
• Conducting live synchronous teaching

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel as required (on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time)
• 6 months of student teaching experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Meet requirements for HQT in subject area under NCLB
• Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
