Job Summary

A health information management company has a current position open for a Remote Surgery Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing provider surgery report and abstracting all surgery codes
• Answering questions for provider as the coding subject matter expert
• Informing providers of new or changes in coding conventions

Qualifications for this position include:

• 2 year of coding experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD – 10 and CPT
• Familiarity with orthopedic, plastics and podiatry coding
• Strong knowledge base of medical terminology, medical abbreviations, etc
