Job Summary

A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Surgery Professional Coding Department Medical Coding Specialist I or II.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Utilizing available encoder, grouper software, and other coding resources
• Determining the appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and/or HCPCS
• Maintaining an understanding and applying knowledge of National Correct Coding Initiatives

Qualifications Include:

• High School diploma or equivalent and a graduate of or currently enrolled in a Medical Coding Program
• Certification as CPC, RHIA, RHIT, CIC, COC, CCS-P, CCS, or CCA within one year of hire
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and institutional guidelines
