An internet company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote System Monitoring Junior System Administrator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing solutions to moderately technical issues from internal business units
  • Documenting system incidents for follow up
  • Adding, modifying, and removing monitoring checks as business needs change

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 2+ years of Linux (CentOS/RHEL) System Administrator experience
  • Experience writing basic shell scripts to help automate routine tasks
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge in web hosting software
  • Experience with Apache, MySQL and Exim in a CLI (SSH) interface
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
