Job Summary

A company providing lease purchasing technology is filling a position for a Remote Systems Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Upgrading and maintaining operating systems/application software across our mixed environment of Linux and Windows servers
  • Managing both on-premise servers and cloud resources
  • Supporting and a hybrid Microsoft Exchange deployment

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 3+ years of enterprise systems engineering and DevOps experience
  • Intermediate level administrator with Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016
  • Entry level administrator with Linux CentOS/RHEL 7.x
  • Experience with monitoring technologies like Nagios, SNMP, Splunk, Syslog, Veeam One, and Zabbix
  • Understanding of common protocols and services
  • Experience using orchestration and configuration management tools similar to SaltStack, Puppet, and Chef
