Job Summary
An accounting and tax service provider is seeking a Remote Tax Preparer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients to explain a completed tax return using screen sharing software with webcam
- Entering data for business tax returns
- Entering data for individual returns which includes Schedule A, B, C, D and E
Position Requirements Include:
- Required credentials would be CTEC, CPA or EA
- 5 years of tax preparation experience
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of balance sheet reconcilation, stock options, rentals and small business acumen
- Experience balancing corporate tax return balance sheet
- Demonstrate knowledge of tax laws
- Strong communication skills on the phone, in an email and during web meetings with clients
