Job Summary

A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Technical Sales Support Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing pre-and-post-sale technical support to both Distributors and Industrial End-User Customers
  • Assisting customers with product configuration, system interface requirements, and installation
  • Collaborating with product management to develop training

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Ability to travel around 50% within the region
  • 2-5 years' technical knowledge with Industrial Automation, Robotics, and/or general automation integration
  • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent experience in automation
  • Knowledge of Communication protocols, System IO, general SW programming Languages
  • Ability to make presentations to small groups and explain technical info to a non-technical audience
  • Must reside in the Midwestern United States
