Job Summary
An information technology company is in need of a Remote Technical Support Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring that customer issues are resolved as expediently as possible
- Providing thoughtful direction and support for technical inquiries
- Reproducing customer issues and logging JIRA tickets
Required Skills:
- 3+ years proven expertise supporting DataStax Enterprise
- Hands-on experience working in a leadership or escalations role
- BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
- At least 6 years of experience in a support related, customer-facing role
- Strong Linux skills – navigation and tools and Strong understanding of Java and Python
- Good understanding of relational and/or alternative database technologies
- Able to debug and identify network issues
