Job Summary

An information technology company is in need of a Remote Technical Support Engineer.


Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring that customer issues are resolved as expediently as possible
  • Providing thoughtful direction and support for technical inquiries
  • Reproducing customer issues and logging JIRA tickets

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years proven expertise supporting DataStax Enterprise
  • Hands-on experience working in a leadership or escalations role
  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • At least 6 years of experience in a support related, customer-facing role
  • Strong Linux skills – navigation and tools and Strong understanding of Java and Python
  • Good understanding of relational and/or alternative database technologies
  • Able to debug and identify network issues
