Job Summary

An IT solutions company is filling a position for a Remote Technical Writer in Tysons.

Must be able to:

  • Contribute to the implementation of a robust technical editing capability for our company
  • Perform all technical editing and writing for the training team in support of online and instructor-led development and provide advice to programmatic staff during deliverable development
  • Consolidate and edit documents, including white papers

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or Technical Writing
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a technical writer
  • Professional experience that demonstrates initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and an entrepreneurial spirit for fostering collaboration and effective internal and external communication of technical concepts and ideas
  • Ability to draft, edit, finalize, and submit documentation for all technical and programmatic content
  • Ability to conduct independent research to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the written content
  • Ability to ensure all documents meet established organizational and industry standards for technical and non-technical documents
