Job Summary
A digital first media company has a current position open for a Remote Technology Digital Transformation Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Recruit and lead a small newsroom experimentation team of content strategists and content producers
- Work closely with the Executive Editor on new audience initiatives
- Work across the newsroom to share content strategies using new and archived content
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years news leadership experience that includes proven innovative content and audience growth strategies
- Track record of journalism excellence that includes the ability to inspire and execute on unique projects
- Experience in a range of platforms
- Proven ability to start new teams and organize for success
- Knowledge or direct experience in artificial intelligence or unique content strategies to build new audience
- A command of audience analytics and experience with the tactics that drive results
