Job Summary

An entertainment media company is filling a position for a Remote Technology Monitoring and Control DevOps Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing, customizing and enhancing monitoring and alerting tools for on air environments
  • Creating system dashboards that improve system availability and reliability
  • Querying data stores to quantify the scope of reported issues

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related degree
  • 2+ yrs experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack and Dataminer
  • Ability to develop end to end monitoring dashboards, alerts and reports for large scale environments
  • Ability to collect data from various systems using COTS APIs
  • Experience with multiple scripting languages and tools like C#, MS Visual studio and Python
  • Experience in modern infrastructure deployment and maintenance
