Job Summary

A health insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Texas Region Weekend Telephonic Utilization Management Nurse.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Coordinating and communicating with providers, members, or other parties
• Understanding department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives
• Making decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Texas or a Compact license, with no disciplinary action
• Utilization Management experience
• Prior clinical experience preferably in an acute care, hospital, skilled or rehabilitation clinical setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Ability to work independently under general instructions and with a team
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
