Job Summary

A transportation company has a current position open for a Remote Transportation Senior Sales Executive in Houston.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build a profitable book of business and achieving sales goals
  • Proactively generate leads and solicit high-value shippers
  • Collaborate with operation teams to ensure that customer needs are understood and supported

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Spend ~ 50% of time conducting outside sales visits to close business
  • Entrepreneurial sales approach as there are no set territories
  • Experience and ability to build a $1.5M to $3M in gross profit book of business
  • Must have at least 3 years of truckload sales experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and follow-thru abilities
  • Aptitude and appreciation for selling in a fast-paced and competitive environment
