Job Summary
This role is responsible for the development and management of B2B and B2C, third party and integrated travel sales technologies. This position works closely with internal and external customers to determine the needs and requirements of a fully realized portfolio of agency and advisor tools.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:
*Is the Product and Subject Matter expert for a portfolio of travel technologies designed to support Agency and Advisor operations and sales needs.
*Manages the relationship and the strategy of engagement with third party travel technology partners.
*Uses data and customer research towards recommending and designing products and features that promote growth and value in the travel technology portfolio.
*Specifies and oversees the research required to determine the needs and desires of customer segments.
*Works closely with Marketing and Implementations to define product marketing communications, content and objectives.
*Works with reporting and management to design analyses on product ROI, responding to questions and requests from stakeholders.
*Compares company products to competitor's products in order to assess competition in the market.
*Works closely with stakeholders and third-party partners to coordinate the review and deployment of release and production schedules to maintain product availability.
*Works with appropriate stakeholders and Implementations to determine deployment timing and business process.
*Works with appropriate stakeholders and Implementations to identify configuration and integration needs in Agency customization.
*Evaluates and identifies configurations that supports customer business process and goals. *Supports configuration of business requirements and features.
*Tests and troubleshoots system(s) for final release and acceptance. Works with *Implementations and the Agency to implement changes and final testing.
*Provides internal and external training content and administrator support on the travel technology portfolio.
*May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations and/or aid in scoping projects.
*Works with Implementations to identify and apply metrics to track the adoption and customer satisfaction of deployed technologies.

Required Education and Experience:
*5+ years in the travel industry with exposure to travel agency implementations, travel technology and operations.
*5+ years of experience in the support and/or deployment of eCommerce and operational technologies to travel consumers, travel agents and/or travel suppliers.
*Proficiency with online sales technologies and channels (air/hotel/cruise).
*Proficiency in designing and executing on unit/product testing.
*B2B and B2C booking tool management and administration experience.
*Understanding of UI/UX design and end user workflows
Preferred Education and Experience:
*College degree.
*Agency on-boarding and off-boarding experience.
*Knowledge of cruise lines and sale/promotional content.
*Knowledge of air and hotel contracts and commissions.
*Experience with GDS reservation platforms (Sabre, Travelport, Amadeus).
*Knowledge of Clientbase, Zoho and ticket tracking platforms.
Travel:
Approximately 10% of travel is expected for this position with occasional international travel.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
