Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments based on their IEPs
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and accommodations
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and professionals to support student learning

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Vision Rehabilitation, or related field
Valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification/license in Virginia
Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred
Strong understanding of visual impairment strategies, assistive technologies, and educational accommodations
Proficient in using virtual platforms and educational technology for remote instruction
