Job Summary
A public university has a current position open for a Remote University Bilingual Chinese Department of Arts and Humanities Secondary Instructor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Facilitating synchronous speaking practice sessions utilizing Skype for students enrolled
- Providing speaking practice sessions on various times on several different days
- Engaging students & motivate them to succeed and convey a genuine energy and enthusiasm for their learning
Qualifications for this position include:
- Master's degree in Chinese Language or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Professional experience in Chinese Language or related field
- Ability to manage speaking practice log to provide rich, helpful feedback and assessment after each session
- Ability to help students develop language proficiency and gain an understanding of culture
