Job Summary

A government IT contractor is filling a position for a Remote UNIX Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Optimize backup processes and disk space allocations
Perform installations and upgrades
Monitor and review logs

Skills and Requirements Include:

Remote work with meeting attendance when required
BS or BA in related discipline desired
Must be able to demonstrate direct technical work on enterprise level network engineering projects
Enterprise level Unix/Linux administration
DISA STIG, IA and DoD computing environment experience
Seven (7) years systems administration experience on Linux or UNIX AIX, Solaris, or HP-UX operating systems
