Job Summary

A government IT contractor is filling a position for a Remote UNIX Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Optimize backup processes and disk space allocations
  • Perform installations and upgrades
  • Monitor and review logs

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Remote work with meeting attendance when required
  • BS or BA in related discipline desired
  • Must be able to demonstrate direct technical work on enterprise level network engineering projects
  • Enterprise level Unix/Linux administration
  • DISA STIG, IA and DoD computing environment experience
  • Seven (7) years systems administration experience on Linux or UNIX AIX, Solaris, or HP-UX operating systems
