Job Summary

A medical company is in need of a Remote Utilization Management Coordinator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Be responsible for data entry of incoming requests
• Be responsible for general, precertification, concurrent and/or retrospective review of inpatient and/or outpatient services
• Meet the health care needs of members with the appropriate resources

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience with Medi-Cal processes
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1- 3 years UM Coordinator experience
• Ability to be a team player and exercise initiative in responding to provider requests and concerns in a helpful and courteous manner
• Ability to create and maintain documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
