Job Summary
A healthcare and retail pharmacy company is filling a position for a Remote Utilization Management Nurse Consultant in Pittsburgh.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Apply critical thinking, evidenced based clinical criteria and clinical practice guidelines for surgical services requiring precertification
- Use specific criteria to approve procedures/services or initiate a Medical Director referral as needed
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current unrestricted license in state of residence
- 3+ years of clinical experience
- Associate’s degree in nursing required
