Job Summary
A media organization is seeking a Remote UX Designer in New York City.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working on a wide variety of projects including our flagship website
- Working on various internal applications that support our organization
- Developing various UX-related artifacts
Skills and Requirements Include:
- In-depth knowledge of the tools and practices of the UX trade
- User-first mindset — lots of empathy, advocacy, and a passionate drive to do what’s right
- Great analytical skills, able to identify problems and come up with solutions
- Have a desire to advocate for design in general, and user experience in specific
- Possess an uncanny ability to think through all the use cases, not just the happy path
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
