Job Summary

A diversified technology company is seeking a Remote VCE Technical Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Support the company's Virtual Compute Environments by supporting the planning, implementation, and upgrade of VMware-based hardware platforms
  • Perform and execute all general duties and responsibilities
  • Draft, Review and Approve CRs using the change management process to ensure completeness, integrity and an Execute Change

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Have experience with hands-on administration and management of VMware vSphere / ESXi 5.x / 6.x / 7.x
  • Have experience with Powershell or VMware PowerCLI scripting
  • Be able to troubleshooting connectivity across networks in a VMware based environment
  • Have practical experience with deploying and supporting HPE, IBM, Dell brand servers and san based environments running VMware
  • Have strong diagnostic skills for hardware, storage, and General IT problem solving.
  • Be able to troubleshooting connectivity across VMware solutions and networks.
