Job Summary

We are an inbound marketing training company that works with small to mid-sized businesses to grow their thought leadership and sales online. We do this through coaching services, inbound marketing agency services, online training, and in-person/virtual events.

We're looking for someone who can deliver customer success by facilitating the strategic direction of their website while educating and coaching each client throughout the process. You'd own a book of business with support from a project manager, design and development resources.

The right person can make data-driven, strategic decisions to solve for the end-user, and is passionate about teaching others how to do the same. You're a self-starter and understand what it takes to drive results through websites. You are able to look at any website and find areas to drive more conversions and/or improve the user experience.

Location: This is a remote position. However, a bonus if you're located within a commutable distance from our office in New Haven, CT.

Salary: $90,000 -$110,000 based on experience.

Requirements

  • Do you have at least 4-6 years of relevant web work experience in a client-facing role? (project management, user experience (UX) design, user interface (UI) design, content strategist, UX copywriter)
  • Do you enjoy teaching and coaching others?
  • Do you have strong knowledge of web analytics tools and the ability to analyze data?
  • Do you have experience with search engine optimization (SEO) and keyword research?
  • Do you have a solid understanding of design and knowledge of UX best practices?
  • Do you have any HubSpot Certifications?
  • Are you familiar with Growth-Driven Design principles?
  • Are you able to design, even if in a limited fashion?
  • Do you believe a website is never truly done?

    In this role, you will:
  • Lead client calls.
  • Conduct client discovery to gather insight in order to make strategic decisions for the site based on company goals, competition, target audience, customer/sales history, goals for the new site, design, and UX requirements.
  • Educate clients on website strategy and train them throughout the process.
  • Work with the web team and sales team to scope and propose a full website redesign.
  • Continuously improve client websites by testing, analyzing, and iterating.
  • Coach/train clients on: how to review their data and reports so they can own their success long term, proper a/b testing, how to manage their site inside of HubSpot or Wordpress, and est practices to ensure their websites generate results after they stop working with us
  • Create: Recommendations to improve conversion rates and the user journey, user tests, user flows, A/B tests, value proposition maps, sitemaps, search engine optimization (SEO) and keyword research to write URLs and page titles, and page strategies
