Job Summary
A health software comapny is in need of a Remote Wellness Application Senior Backend Engineer in San Diego.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing and own aspects of the Backend MicroServices, API’s, Admin Tool
- Updating and lead the DevOps architecture - Infrastructure, Provisioning, Monitoring & Security
- Managing the EeCommerce platform - Shopify
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Have strong demonstrable knowledge in Backend languages (ex. Java, Go, Python, Ruby)
- Building cloud application skills (ex. AWS) plus ability to build testable, highly-available applications and services with monitoring and alerting
- Experience collaborating with team members across departments to generate analytical dashboards and reporting
- Experience with REST-ful APIs for internal and external products and proficiency in Python or other equivalent statistics and machine learning tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to define and design the app
- Ability to use encryption tools to safeguard content
