Job Summary

A privately-held digital media company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote WordPress Support Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Crafting thoughtful, personal responses to client requests/questions in our support system
  • Troubleshooting and fixing problems on client websites (mostly WordPress)
  • Understanding the needs of online publishers and crafting unique solutions to best serve their goals

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work Saturday through Wednesday work week
  • Experience in a technically focused support environment
  • Ability to read, write and apply HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Intermediate experience with WordPress
  • 2+ years of backend WordPress experience using the following languages: PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 2+ years of experience in a customer facing role
  • Experience editing custom WordPress themes and plugins
