Job Summary
A healthcare provider is filling a position for a Remote Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Adjudicating assigned claims according to state regulation and corporate Best Practice Guidelines
- Assisting in developing and recommending claim strategy
- Receiving report and conducting initial intake via contact with appropriate parties
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Attendance at periodic off - site meetings
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 3+ years of workers’ compensation claim - related experience
- New York State license as an independent claims adjuster or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals
- All other requirements necessary for this position
